Faith – Hope - Charity
Hitting the Target
Dear Member of the Body of Christ:
I think a need for this book is a necessity. This is simply how I wish it were in the Christian world of believers, which actually might conceive more of God’s power at their finger tips if, only, they would enter into the perimeters of this One Body, One Spirit, One Faith, One Baptism, with One Purpose of Heart and Mind that Jesus spoke of and gave to us as his instructions to gain God’s favor.
It’s very simple to accomplish this if you were to believe that you are in element with Him. That is, if you could accept the fact that you were created in a pre-mortal life with God, then if you could believe you were part of His plans to send you and come to Earth for the Purpose of Eternal means, then it’s simple to be of One Purpose of Heart and Mind.
I have committed errors in my life. The kind of errors that would tell others, I couldn’t possibly know anything about the way God would have us do or be. Though I’ve paid the price of very damaging consequences from this, it may be that what you read in this will not take effect until I’ve passed on to the other stage of creation, thus, it is a free gift to you. And the things I write are not a one sided view or point of deliberation. They are really a beginning stage of what it could be and, really, will be when those who might see the vision I am trying to convey can also add to its' fruits...
...From Acts 2: 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Synopsis:
In Jesus Christ I am able to put down on paper the printed pages Faith, Hope and Charity. This is a book I’ve been contemplating ever since it was impressed upon my spirit to do so when reading
the 21st chapter and verse 25 of The Gospel According To St. John and 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 the first time I read them in 1979.
I am not a Bible scholar. There are certain books of the Bible I have read and some of them I've studied word for word, such as Revelation. But, I have not, as of yet, read through the entire Bible. Therefore, I don't claim any scholarly expertise. I will say, since the first time I read the above mentioned, I have meditated, prayed, and I have searched for what ever I could gain in order to address this purpose and matter. If I have any expertise, then the subject of this matter would be it.
Faith, Hope, and Charity
- The Workshop For The Saint –
Hitting the Target
When I hear a tongue confessing "I may have to love you, but I don’t have to like you" my heart becomes saddened. It’s telling me that Jesus’ dying on the cross was in vain. That they don’t
understand the meaning of faith, hope, and charity. That them, like the Pharisee, only renders a service of the tongue while the heart is far from God.
Are you guilty of saying something like that to a fellow saint, and/or someone of acquaintance? If so; what separates your theology and belief from the way of the worlds understanding (world meaning; an unbeliever in Jesus Christ)? If the world witnesses your tongue confessing this; what gives them the inspiration, and or the necessity for a need of salvation in Christ Jesus?
One thing Jesus could do that I’ve not witnessed in the Body of Christ, nowhere, as of yet, is to be able to refrain from ever saying anything that, even, sounded contrary to His Gospel.
There are many Charitable Brothers and Sisters that exemplify His Truth in ways that are good and acceptable to God, but it is Jesus who said we must be perfect as Our Father in Heaven is .
Can you see Jesus pulling His Disciples aside and telling them that he doesn’t like Zaccheaeus, but hey, I’m gonna die for him, so I might as well pretend I do so I can stay and have something to eat at his house tonight? (Question referred to The Gospel of St. Luke 19: 5)…
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying I am perfect, (yet); but when can we truly tell others that we honestly love them, if we can't even find it in our hearts to like them? What are the reasons for
you not liking someone? Is this reason enough for us to jeopardize our chances of true perfection? (In this life as well as the next?) I believe our future generations deserve it.
We are running a course, in our work areas, in politics, in the schools, even walking in the public areas where at one time you could smoke a cigarette - but no longer can; where we are beginning to demand perfection.
We want perfection in the work we contribute to and in, we want perfection in our elected officials, we want perfection in our teachers and instructors in schools. The trashhy character is becoming obsolete, and we need help. But, again, I believe the next generation deserves it from us, and we have an obligation to try and give it to them.
Years ago I played Romeo & Juliet with a very young girl that lived next door to a house I lived in. Rumors filtered the air about me as a child molester. (I will disclose to you, this girl had had her older brother die from a hunting accident, just, prior to this summer. Her father was approximately 20 years older than her mother. So, in an act of kindness I was reaching out to a hand that reached out as well for something that could enlighten her distress. It was very innocent on my part, and in my hopes, very therapeutic for her. As I know what it's like to lose a loved one and have such discomfort through it). They didn't think to consider the cause and effect of the scenario, they just assumed and then judged. I'm not totally sure with proof, but I think I lost a job because of it once. I'll never know, because I feel if someone wants to know the honest to goodness truth, they'll ask the source of the bedeviled rumor. However, because of this rumor many people, just, don't like me.
I one time was approached by a couple who practiced the lifestyle of partner swapping. When approached by the husband, first, asking me to sleep with his wife, I chuckled and said sure, I'll do that. I thought he was trying to be funny with me. I didn't realize he was even married until he brought me his wife for me to check her out and then confirm my yes. When that happened I was shocked to say the least. I then said absolutely not. But it turned a lot of people against me. There was so much aggravations from this episode, that I'm almost certain I was fired from a job because of it.
I had a girlfriend who died of ovarian cancer at an early age. Because I was so religiously influenced her older brother told me I wasn't allowed to attend her funeral. He wasn't a professed Christian, I hold no ill feelings for this person, but, not being able to attend a funeral because I wasn't liked was very heart wrenching.
My own sibling don't like me, but he loves me - because he's bound by the affirmation of being a practicing Christian. Umm um. It saddens my heart to think that you can call Christ Jesus your Lord, and then turn around and bad mouth the people around you, whether they’re in your reach or doing so behind yours or theirs back.
This is a workshop for faith, hope, and charity. If you truly love God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Ghost, then just what is said above should convict your hearts of the unrighteousness I have
written about. That is, you cannot in a Holy Righteousness, say you love somebody, then turn around and say you don't like them. That's a contradiction, an oxy-moron, if you will. If it doesn't convict you, then, ask God in the name of Christ Jesus, by the power of The Holy Ghost if this is so, or not. Because true love will give such an astonishing testimony of The Gospel Of Jesus Christ, that even those whom you'd least expect it will be able to open up their hearts to repentance, if needed, or a witnessing account, that your peculiarity will duely be noted from "someone".
Then, you will have been a good steward of The Gospel of Jesus Christ to others.

..."Those special offers"?
"It's a simple way to go along with the crowd. Especially, when they stir up the emotions about certain things "we" find in common. But, that straight and narrow? It asks of us to go out of the ordinary and love those who would even curse at us. This is what is not so easy to accomplish, since, in our flesh we normally seek to be appreciated by others, and we normally admire the same qualities of others who find it in themselves to also admire our qualities. But this is the self love the apostle Paul wrote about when he said; "they will be lovers of themselves". This means; they only congregate in union of those who like what "they" like, and love one another for what "they" see themselves in, or about...But, they're not loving the enemy into Jesus' Salvation. In fact, they're just making a whole new realm of enemies from them. Yes, it's easy to love one another, but try loving the enemy...then you will experience a whole new dimension of what it means to have a spiritual battle. Wherewith Ephesians speaks about a spiritual battle that we are ingaged in."
